Good News for Express Entry Candidates!

Exciting news for those looking to immigrate to Canada! The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued a new batch of invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system. This time, they released 4,000 ITAs specifically for candidates in the healthcare and social services sectors.

To participate in this draw, candidates needed a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 475 and had to create an Express Entry profile before 1:08 p.m. UTC on March 13, 2025.

This year has seen several Express Entry draws, with a total of 49,403 ITAs issued in 2025 alone. The draws have mostly focused on Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP), with a good mix of Canadian Experience Class (CEC), French-language proficiency, and healthcare-related positions as well.

If your CRS score is under 500, don't worry! There's still a vital pathway to permanent residency through category-based selection under the Express Entry system. This requires at least six months of continuous work experience in a designated occupation, whether that experience was gained inside or outside Canada.
