Hey there, Alberta residents! If you’re wondering what’s going on with the wildfires in our beautiful province, we’ve got you covered. As of June 27, there are 59 wildfires currently burning in the Forest Protection Area. Yikes! Out of these, 18 are unfortunately classified as out of control. But don’t worry too much; firefighters from all over are stepping in to help.

In fact, more than 1,500 brave firefighters, including those from other provinces and even countries like Australia and the U.S., are hard at work battling the flames and keeping our communities safe.

Also, if you’re in communities with lifted evacuation orders, like the Dene Tha’ First Nation in Chateh, make sure you stay prepared for any changes.
