Exciting news for families in Alberta! The provincial government is investing an extra $3.2 million into the Family Justice Strategy, bringing the total funding to $11.2 million. This initiative aims to help families navigate their legal matters without the added stress of court appearances.

By expanding access to pre-court services, such as mediation and online parenting courses, Alberta is stepping up to make sure families can resolve issues in a stress-free environment. The goal? To prioritize family wellness and the best interests of children during tough times.

Newly added communities like Grande Prairie and Stony Plain will now benefit from these simpler support systems. Since the initiative started in December 2023, over 69,000 Albertans have already accessed these valuable services!
