Saskatchewan's Agriculture Minister Daryl Harrison is embarking on an exciting trade mission to Mexico! This trip aims to strengthen the province's agricultural ties, enhancing relationships with long-standing partners in Mexico and showcasing Saskatchewan's reputation for high-quality food and ingredients.

The mission will not only support companies in Saskatchewan but also create new opportunities for research, investment, and collaboration in the province's agricultural sector. Minister Harrison emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating, "Mexico continues to be a vital partner for Saskatchewan, particularly in the agriculture sector."

This visit includes participation in the 2025 Tri-National Agricultural Accord in Morelia, Mexico. This meeting is a fantastic chance to interact with key players from the United States and Mexico, discussing vital topics such as the upcoming Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement review and celebrating the International Year of the Woman Farmer.

Did you know that Mexico was Saskatchewan's sixth-largest export destination last year, with $592 million in exports? That’s a whopping 93% of our total exports to the country! This mission could open even more doors for Saskatchewan's agricultural exports.
