The Government of Saskatchewan is excited to announce a new partnership with Indonesia aimed at boosting the agri-food industry! On October 7, 2025, a Letter of Intent (LOI) was signed with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia), focusing on enhancing cooperation in agri-food processing and agricultural technologies.

Warren Kaeding, the Trade and Export Development Minister, shared his enthusiasm about diversifying Saskatchewan’s export markets. With over $10 billion in exports to Asia in 2024, including $868.9 million to Indonesia, this partnership is seen as a pivotal step towards expanding trade relations.

Saskatchewan is committed to being a stable supplier of agri-food products globally. This new initiative will not only benefit Saskatchewan’s economy but also improve food security worldwide. As the province opens five trade and investment offices in the region, it continues to pave new pathways for business growth!
