The Government of Saskatchewan is excited to announce a new partnership with Indonesia aimed at boosting the agri-food industry! On October 7, 2025, a Letter of Intent (LOI) was signed with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia), focusing on enhancing cooperation in agri-food processing and agricultural technologies.

Warren Kaeding, the Trade and Export Development Minister, shared his enthusiasm about diversifying Saskatchewan’s export markets. With over $10 billion in exports to Asia in 2024, including $868.9 million to Indonesia, this partnership is seen as a pivotal step towards expanding trade relations.

Saskatchewan is committed to being a stable supplier of agri-food products globally. This new initiative will not only benefit Saskatchewan’s economy but also improve food security worldwide.
