Exciting Updates from Prince Edward Island: PNP Draw Results!
Great news for those eyeing opportunities in Prince Edward Island! On September 19, the PEI Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) held its ninth draw of the year. With a steady rhythm of approximately one draw per month in 2025, this latest round saw 129 invitations issued specifically for candidates in key sectors.
The province is keen on hiring skilled workers and gave priority to those currently employed by PEI employers, alongside international graduates from institutions like UPEI and Holland College. If you work in healthcare, trades, or manufacturing, you might just be the candidate they’re looking for!
But what about those in other sectors? Unfortunately, there are currently no invitations for occupations in non-priority sectors such as sales and services. So if you’re in those fields, hold tight and keep an eye on future draws.
To maximize your chances, ensure your profile showcases your English or French proficiency, education, work experience, and alignment with PEI’s labour market needs. The province is placing a strong emphasis on sectors that are experiencing labour shortages, so staying updated is key!
