Ontario Invites Thousands for Immigration: Here’s What You Need to Know!
Exciting news for those looking to move to Canada! On September 3, Ontario’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) issued a whopping 1,893 invitations to apply for provincial immigration. If you have a job offer in one of the priority occupations, this could be your golden opportunity!
The draws targeted candidates who are currently living in Canada and met specific requirements. The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) held two draws and focused on two popular streams: Employer Job Offer for Foreign Workers and International Students.
Here’s a quick breakdown:
- Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream: Minimum score needed was 421 with 1,134 invitations issued.
- Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream: Minimum score was 637 and 759 invitations were handed out.
But wait! To get an invitation, candidates needed to have a job offer in one of the specific National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes listed by the government. From human resources managers to dental hygienists, there are plenty of opportunities available.
If you received an invitation, you’ll need to submit a complete application for provincial nomination to the OINP. Once you have that nomination, you can apply for permanent residence through the federal government!
This month’s draws bring the total number of invitations issued to 4,536, as Ontario aims to fill essential roles in various sectors.
So, if you're considering making Canada your new home, check your eligibility and get your application ready! Can't wait to see you here!
