Canada has a rich volleyball history, and Alberta is the perfect place to host this event. It’s an exciting chance for athletes to showcase their skills on home turf. The Alberta government is stepping up by providing $200,000 to help make this tournament a success. And guess what? More than 4,500 spectators are expected to cheer on their favorites!
This event isn’t just about sports; it’s also a great opportunity for the local economy, projected to bring in $2.4 million as visitors enjoy local dining, shopping, and entertainment.
We're thrilled to welcome athletes and officials to our beautiful province. Alberta will surely shine as hosts of this championship, paving the way for our talented players as they prepare for the 2025 U21 World Championships.
Add to the excitement, three remarkable athletes will be representing Alberta on Team Canada: Grant Hill, Owen Harris, and Kale Fisher. Team Canada has consistently placed in the top three since the tournament’s start in 2011!
So, mark your calendars, bring your friends, and let’s show our Alberta spirit! This is where competitive volleyball reaches new heights!
