Investing in Our Heroes: Improvements at Nipawin Legion Branch
Today, we celebrate a fantastic initiative in Nipawin, Saskatchewan! The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 120 has undergone some incredible improvements, all thanks to the Saskatchewan Veterans Service Club Support Program.
Introduced a few years back, this program is all about supporting our veterans and their communities. With over $7.4 million granted to various organizations, the program continues to enrich local areas. Recently, Nipawin Legion received $27,500 to help with essential upgrades like a new furnace and improved facilities.
Alana Ross, the Parks, Culture and Sport Minister, emphasized the vital role these clubs play in caring for our veterans. It’s not just financial help; it’s about creating safe spaces for veterans to connect and heal.
Through collective efforts, we're ensuring that our heroes receive the care and community connections they deserve!
