For nearly 150 years, Alberta's dedicated police and peace officers have put their lives on the line for our safety. Today, we honor the sacrifice of 106 officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty since 1876. It’s important to remember not just their bravery, but also the impact their loss has on families and communities.

Each officer who serves embodies courage and commitment, and we are grateful. Their service reminds us of the values they uphold: duty, integrity, and unwavering service to others. Behind every uniform is a family who supports and loves them. Today, we acknowledge their sacrifices too.
