Exciting Highway Upgrades in Saskatchewan Landing!
Are you planning a trip to Saskatchewan? You'll be excited to hear about the latest upgrades taking place along Highway 261 in Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park, just north of Swift Current! This week, local authorities are working hard on a $1.8 million project that will repave over 7 kilometers and enhance popular spots like the boat launch and Bear Paw Campground.
Highways Minister David Marit reminds all travelers to stay alert, especially as we see the beautiful fall colors. There’s ongoing roadwork across the province, so it’s a good idea to check the Highway Hotline for the latest updates.
Additionally, construction on other major projects is happening too! A $10 million initiative is widening and paving about eight kilometers of Highway 21, while $13.3 million is being dedicated to repaving nearly 19 kilometers of Highway 33 between Fillmore and Francis. All of this work aims to improve our roadways for everyone's safety.
Remember to slow down and obey all signs in construction zones, even if workers aren’t present. These precautions help keep you and all road users safe!
