Immunization Flu Shot COVID-19 Vaccine Saskatchewan Health

This fall, residents of Saskatchewan aged six months and older can line up for their free Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations! It's as easy as heading to a public health clinic, and some pharmacies or doctor’s offices also offer these shots.

Health Minister Jeremy Cockrill reminds us, “Booking an appointment is a simple step that can make a big difference.” Immunizing yourself is a proven way to keep your health—and the health of those around you—intact this season.

You can choose to get your flu shot, your COVID-19 vaccine, or even both at the same time. And don’t worry—getting both vaccines together is completely safe according to Dr. Tania Diener from the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

To book your appointment, hop online to the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s booking system anytime, or give them a call at 1-833-727-5829, Monday through Friday. If you prefer walk-in clinics, check out their locations online first!

Parents, please note: children aged six months to five years can only get vaccinated at SHA clinics or by a healthcare professional.

There’s a particular emphasis for those in higher-risk groups like seniors, pregnant women, and those with chronic health conditions. Dr. Nnamdi Ndubuka urges northern Saskatchewan residents to prioritize their health and get vaccinated.

Make sure to engage with your community’s health representatives for more tailored advice. Every small step contributes to making our communities safer. Let’s keep healthy together this season!
