Hey there, future Canada residents! 🌟 We have some exciting news from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). They recently held a draw and issued 2,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for the Express Entry program specifically for candidates in the education category. How cool is that?

To be in the running, candidates had to meet a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 462 and created their Express Entry profiles before 4:24 a.m. UTC on July 9, 2025.

This latest draw is only the second time in history that the education category was featured, with a significant drop in the CRS cut-off from 479 to 462—making it more accessible! With this draw, IRCC has now issued a total of 59,797 ITAs in 2025.
