Exciting News: More ITAs Issued for Trade Occupations!
Great news for skilled tradespeople looking to move to Canada! Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has just issued 1,250 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in a recent Express Entry draw specifically for trade occupations. If you’ve been considering taking the leap into Canadian immigration, now might be the right time!
To be in the running for this draw, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 505 and must have created their Express Entry profile before 10:36 PM UTC on November 5, 2025.
This year, Express Entry draws have been quite competitive, with the latest draws showing a higher CRS cut-off score than we’ve previously seen. In fact, today’s draw is the first of its kind focused on the trade occupations category this year. Previously, in late October, the CRS cut-off was much lower at just 433.
IRCC has already issued a total of 65,547 ITAs in 2025, with many of those aimed at trade, healthcare, and educational professionals. Looking ahead, IRCC predicts they will issue an additional 2,050 ITAs for trades by the end of the year.
