Exciting News for Skilled Trades: New Invitations from Canada!
Great news for all skilled trades professionals! On September 18, Canada’s Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship (IRCC) held its first trades draw in nearly a year. They invited 1,250 candidates from the Express Entry trade category who scored a minimum of 505 on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
This CRS cut-off might be higher than usual, but don't worry — more trades draws are expected before the year ends! So, this is your chance!
Wondering how you can boost your CRS score? Don't panic! There are plenty of resources available, and understanding your profile can help you improve your chances.
For instance, let's meet Kavitha, a talented cook from India, who qualified for the latest trades draw thanks to her education and work experience. She scored 514, primarily due to her advanced English skills and Canadian qualifications.
Similarly, Mohamed from Bangladesh, a carpenter, also made the cut with a score of 521, thanks to his strong educational background and family ties in Canada.
