Discover how local health facilities are evolving in Saskatchewan!
Saskatchewan healthcare community news

Hey there! Exciting news from Rural and Remote Health Minister Lori Carr, who is making the rounds in Canora, Kamsack, and Preeceville. Today, she's meeting with local leaders and health care heroes, visiting key facilities to see how they’re providing top-notch care.

Lori expressed her gratitude for the hard work from staff across the province this summer, emphasizing the government’s commitment to creating safe and effective workplaces. After all, healthy workers mean healthy patients!

The upcoming upgrades to Kamsack Hospital and Regional Nursing Home include a new roof for their long-term care section and some fresh renovations to the hospital foyer, all with a planned investment of $2.06 million over three years. Additionally, Canora Hospital is set to get a brand-new telemetry system to monitor patient health, all for $158,000!

It’s heartening to see such dedicated efforts improving our community health facilities, ensuring everyone gets the high-quality care they deserve.
