Help Design Alberta's New License Plate!

Hey there, Albertans! 🚗 Looking for a fun way to show off our beautiful province? Now’s your chance! From October 15 to November 5, you can participate in an exciting online vote to help design a brand new provincial license plate.

This isn’t just an ordinary plate; it embodies our spirit with the theme “Strong and Free,” celebrating Alberta’s stunning landscapes and our rich cultural identity. Think of it as a piece of art that showcases who we are every time we hit the road!

You’ll get to choose from eight amazing designs that feature iconic landmarks like the Three Sisters Mountains. After the first round of voting, the top four designs will move forward for another round, where you’ll have the chance to pick the winning plate!

If you’d like to swap your current plate for the new design when it's available in late 2026, there's a small fee of $28. But don't worry, if you're renewing your vehicle registration, you can get the new plate without any extra charge!
