Alberta has a vibrant history of pioneering women who have paved the way for future generations. It’s inspiring to see that spirit alive today! A big thank you goes out to community groups, non-profits, and volunteers who work tirelessly for equality on every front.

The Alberta government is dedicated to creating opportunities for all. Resources like the Women’s Hub and scholarships in science and technical fields help shape a brighter future for everyone in our province.

We’re also taking strong action to ensure safety through our ten-year strategy aimed at ending gender-based violence, which includes over 100 specific actions to support survivors and empower women economically.
