Exciting news from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)! They've just issued more invitations to apply (ITAs) for those looking to enter Canada through the Express Entry system. In the latest draw, a total of 2,500 ITAs were handed out specifically for candidates in the healthcare and social services category.

To qualify for this round, applicants needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 472 and had to create their Express Entry profile before 11:17 p.m. UTC on May 12, 2025.

This draw marks the fifth time this year that IRCC has focused on the healthcare and social services categories. And did you know? Nearly 10,000 ITAs have been issued to healthcare candidates in 2025 alone! That’s a significant portion of the total invitations issued this year.
