Good news for Albertans! In 2022, Alberta’s government launched the Affordable Housing Partnership Program, designed to ensure that everyone has access to safe and affordable housing. This initiative is part of a bigger 10-year Stronger Foundations plan aimed at building homes that meet the diverse needs of our communities.

Recently, more than $203 million has been committed from both provincial and federal levels to support the creation of new affordable housing units across Alberta. A big win! With funding for 25 new projects, over 2,300 additional affordable units will soon be available.

The government believes that everyone deserves more than just a house; they deserve a place to call home. By investing in this program, thousands of low-income families will gain access to safe, reliable housing. This means they can focus on rebuilding their lives with dignity and stability.
