This July, Minister Loewen will be in Oklahoma City to accept a significant honor on behalf of Alberta’s government – the Waterfowling Legacy Award from Delta Waterfowl. This award highlights Alberta’s remarkable leadership in wildlife conservation and sustainable hunting practices.
During the Duck Hunters Expo, the Minister will connect with outdoor enthusiasts from around the globe, showcasing Alberta as a top-notch destination for hunting and outdoor recreation. He commented, “This award proves that Alberta continues to be a world leader in wildlife conservation.”
With diverse game bird hunting opportunities including ducks, snow geese, and wild turkey, Alberta is committed to preserving wildlife for future generations while allowing young hunters to get involved as early as age 10. It’s a cultural legacy that we cherish!
