Alberta's Strong Stand Against Drug Activity

Alberta is taking a firm stand against illegal drug activities in our neighborhoods! Recently, the Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods (SCAN) unit of the Alberta Sheriffs closed down a property in Sturgeon County due to ongoing criminal activities.

The closure, effective from September 3 for 43 days, is part of a broader initiative to ensure the safety and security of Alabertans. The involved property has been boarded up, and certain individuals are banned from visiting it for three years!

This community safety order highlights the collaborative efforts between various law enforcement agencies, including the Edmonton Police Service and RCMP, to tackle these issues.
