The call is out for nominations for the 2025 Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal, and it’s time to shine a light on those incredible individuals who make our communities better!

Lieutenant Governor Bernadette McIntyre shares her excitement about the amazing volunteers in Saskatchewan, stating that they truly make a difference no matter the cause. From small acts of kindness to large community initiatives, volunteers play a critical role in our province’s success.

Established in 1995, the Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal honors those who dedicate their time and talents to serving others. If you know someone—an individual or a group—who has gone above and beyond to uplift their community, now is the perfect time to nominate them!

Nominations are open until October 31, 2025, and you can easily submit your nomination online. If you prefer, you can also send your nomination by mail, courier, or drop it off in person.

Every volunteer deserves recognition, and this prestigious medal is a wonderful way to honor the hard work and dedication of those who make Saskatchewan a better place.
