This event is not just about athletics; it's a significant boost to the local economy, generating around $1.1 million as visitors book hotels, shop, and dine at Edmonton's local businesses. Thanks to the Alberta government's Major Sport Event grant program, $150,000 is being provided to support this event.

The Edmonton Athletics Invitational is a crucial stop on the World Athletics Silver Continental Tour. Athletes will compete for valuable ranking points while showcasing their talent. Among the competitors are our very own Albertan athletes like Amanda Rummery and Noah Vucsics, who has made headlines at the Para Athletics World Championships!
