Big News for Trade Occupation Candidates in Canada!
Hey there, future immigrants! 🌍 Are you eyeing a career in trade occupations in Canada? We've got some exciting news from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)! Recently, IRCC issued 1,250 invitations to apply (ITAs) specifically for candidates in the Express Entry's trade occupations category. Isn’t that fantastic?
To get in on this opportunity, candidates needed a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 505 and had to create their Express Entry profile before 10:36 p.m. UTC on November 5, 2025. If you’ve got your profile ready, it's time to see how you stack up against the competition!
This latest draw is the first time this year that trade occupations candidates are invited. Previously, in October 2024, the CRS cut-off score was only 433. So why the jump? The big gap between draws for this category allowed more candidates to build their profiles, making this draw more selective.
But wait, there’s more! Overall, IRCC has issued a whopping 61,047 ITAs through the Express Entry system this year, focusing mainly on Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates. What’s next? IRCC is expected to issue an additional 2,050 ITAs to trade candidates before the year wraps up. Exciting times ahead!
