Exciting news from Saskatchewan! The Government and Creative Options Regina have unveiled a brand new home for adults with intellectual disabilities. This initiative, backed by a generous $1.2 million investment, aims to provide personalized support that encourages independence.

Social Services Minister Terry Jenson highlighted the importance of this facility, stating, “This home gives residents the personalized support they need to live as independently as possible.” It’s wonderful to see such dedication to community well-being!

Creative Options Regina operates this welcoming space, which not only offers residential support but also promotes meaningful relationships and self-discovery for its residents. With an additional annual operating fund of $429,000 from the Ministry of Social Services, the home is set to flourish.

Michael Lavis, CEO of Creative Options Regina, shared his vision: “This home marks another step toward a future where belonging is the standard, not the exception.” Together, they are not just building a home, but a stronger, more inclusive community.
