Celebrating Community Inclusion Month!
Celebrating Community Inclusion Month!
Welcome to October, a special month dedicated to Community Inclusion! The Government of Saskatchewan, in collaboration with Inclusion Saskatchewan, is shining a spotlight on the incredible contributions made by people with intellectual disabilities.
As Social Services Minister Terry Jenson said, this month is all about recognizing the strengths and achievements of these individuals. It’s a time for families, allies, and organizations to come together and celebrate.
Inclusion Saskatchewan has been a leading figure in advocating for the rights of people with intellectual disabilities for almost 70 years. Their work empowers thousands of individuals and families across the province through various programs and initiatives.
Throughout October, there will be exciting activities and events organized by Inclusion Saskatchewan and its partners that promote awareness and highlight the talents of people with intellectual disabilities. It’s an opportunity for everyone to learn, connect, and celebrate!
