From October 1 to 4, Edmonton is set to buzz with excitement as over 45,000 fans gather at Rogers Place for the Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR). If you love rodeo, this event is not to be missed!

The CFR has been a staple of Alberta's culture for more than 50 years, showcasing the province’s western spirit and energizing the local economy. With an impressive $1.5 million investment from the Alberta government this year, the CFR is not just a rodeo; it’s a celebration of our rich heritage!

This year, expect to see around 120 athletes competing in thrilling events including bull riding, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, and barrel racing. Each event brings heart-pounding action as competitors vie for coveted national titles and shiny new buckles!

Last year, the CFR attracted over 42,000 spectators and generated more than $32 million in local economic activity. The event not only highlights amazing athletic talent but also significantly boosts jobs and tourism in the area, supporting over 5,500 jobs and filling more than 12,000 hotel rooms. Talk about a win-win!
