Exciting Immigration Updates from Newfoundland and Labrador!
Great news for those looking to immigrate to Newfoundland and Labrador! On October 9, 2025, the province issued 125 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for their Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). This marks the eleventh draw of the year!
So far in 2025, a total of 2,946 ITAs have been issued by the Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism (OIM). Of the latest invites, 73 were through the NLPNP and 52 through the AIP. While the specific streams for the NLPNP weren’t detailed, applicants can expect clear guidelines to follow throughout the process.
If you’re keen on applying, it’s essential to have a valid job or job offer from an employer in Newfoundland and Labrador. This is crucial for your eligibility. The OIM prioritizes candidates whose skills align with the province’s labor market needs, ensuring that they find the right people for the right jobs.
After receiving an ITA, candidates will get an email notification and can formally apply for provincial nomination through their Immigration Accelerator portal account. For employers involved in the AIP, they will also receive a confirmation letter and are encouraged to apply for job offer endorsement.
Considering moving to Newfoundland and Labrador? The province is addressing labor shortages and enhancing its population by offering 2,525 total provincial nomination spaces this year. Don’t miss your chance to explore this welcoming community!
