Exciting news from Saskatchewan! Today marks the grand opening of awâsisak kâ-nîmîhtocik St. Francis School, which translates to "children who dance." This isn't just a school; it's a brand new community hub where students can learn and thrive while embracing their Cree language and culture.

Premier Scott Moe shared his enthusiasm for this investment in the future of Saskatchewan, reminding us of the importance of quality education. With a commitment of $45.6 million for the school's construction, along with contributions from community partners, this school will support learners from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9.

We're thrilled to hear from Education Minister Everett Hindley about the school's thoughtful design, aimed at reflecting local culture and creating a nurturing environment for families and students.
