Exciting Upgrades at Airdrie Community Health Centre!

The Airdrie Community Health Centre is taking a big step forward with its recent renovations! Opened to patients on September 9, this newly upgraded urgent care space means a lot for the community. With an impressive investment of $8.4 million, the center is enhancing treatment capacity by 37.5%, ensuring that patients get the care they need without long waits.

What’s new? For starters, there are six newly created treatment spaces, including specialized rooms designed for improved infection control. There's also a dedicated EMS parking area, making it easier for paramedics to transfer patients quickly. Plus, an expanded waiting area means more comfort for everyone.

As part of Alberta’s commitment to better healthcare, this is just Phase 2 of the optimization project, with exciting improvements still on the way. Soon, patients will also see updates to the old urgent care area, providing even more comfort and efficiency.
