Unlock Your Future: Duke and Duchess Scholarship for Young Adults!

Hey there! Exciting news for young adults in Alberta! To honor the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's special visit back in July 2011, Alberta has launched the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Scholarship. This amazing opportunity is all about recognizing the hard work of students who have overcome tough times while in government care.

Applications for this scholarship are open until August 31, so don't wait! If you've been a part of the Advancing Futures program and have achieved outstanding grades, this could be your chance to grab a $2,000 scholarship. It's designed to help 25 students pursuing studies in arts, business, science, social work, and more.

The Alberta government is committed to helping youth in care with a whopping $14.2 million yearly investment in the Advancing Futures Program. Since its start in 2004, many participants have gained important life skills and transitioned into successful adulthood. With this support, 1,575 young adults have earned their certificates, diplomas, or degrees!
