Saskatchewan Wildfire Update: The Good News!

Hey there! We’ve got some news regarding the wildfires in Saskatchewan as of September 18, 2025. Right now, there are 17 active wildfires in the province, but don't worry—two of them are contained, which is great news!

There’s ongoing assessment happening with 14 fires, while one is listed as protecting important values. So far this year, there have been 490 wildfires, which is a bit lower than last year but higher than the five-year average.
