Local Voices, Better Health: Alberta's New Advisory Councils

Alberta is taking a big step forward in its healthcare system by really listening to the voices from the communities. The provincial government has set up regional advisory councils that aim to bring local priorities to the forefront.

These councils consist of 150 members from 71 different communities, including community leaders, health care workers, and Indigenous representatives. Together, they will provide insights on how to improve healthcare services tailored to the unique needs of each community.
