Highway Construction Updates: What You Need to Know

The roadwork is in full swing! As we step into autumn, it’s important for all drivers to stay cautious and informed about the ongoing highway projects, especially near Weyburn.

This week, we have some exciting news! A $29 million project is underway to twin 5.8 km of Highway 39 and build a roundabout at its intersection with Highway 13. Currently, they’re finishing up concrete work, and if the weather permits, paving will start soon!

Also, there’s a $15 million project aimed at grading and replacing older culverts on 24 km of Highway 51. This is another significant step in improving our roadways, set for completion by late 2026.
